Klagenfurt International, Austria

I have a love of Austria and really enjoyed Klagenfurt in 2023 so we decided to come back for the double international dog show in 2024. We had a great show over two days with fabulous results.
Henry being the big strong male that he is seemed to be distracted by something which I can only imagine was girl related but he still managed to perform in the show ring despite seeming very over excited.
William did wonderfully in a strong Junior class and didn't put a paw wrong. I always find Junior class quite difficult due to the age range and the developmental stages the youngsters can be at during the rage. In my opinion a 9 month old dog is going to look quite different to an almost 15 month old dog at this time. William was only pipped to the post by an older more developed male and there is not much we can do about that!
Louis made his start in Puppy class, moving up from Minor Puppy class. He took it in his stride and did really well. Of course he's only 6.5 months old so his legs are everywhere but he ran well and he stood quite calmly. Winning Best Puppy both days meant he got to do it all again in the main ring where he did brilliantly! It's time to start honing those show skills now!
